Utah’s Premier Bullriding Event Honors Legendary Lane Frost

VERNAL, Utah – In memory of the legendary Lane Frost, the 16th annual Lane Frost Challenge (LFC) series returns to Vernal, Utah on Jan. 22-23, 2016 with intense rides, wrecks and heart-pounding entertainment.

Fifty professional cowboys will compete at the Western Park Indoor Arena for more than $25,000 in cash and prizes. Local riders include defending champion Dakota Ogden (Goshen, Utah), 2015 LFC Mona Champion Zane Vincent (Santaquin, Utah), and 2015 Intermountain Pro Rodeo Assocation Champion Scott Carlson (Evanston, Wyo).

Photo opportunity! On Saturday, Jan. 23rd Dakota Ogden and Zane Vincent will be signing autographs from 12–2pm at the Sportsman’s Warehouse, 2015 West Highway 40 in Vernal, Utah.

Lane Frost was recently featured on the cover of American Cowboy Magazine marking the anniversary of his untimely death and his World Champion Status.

A feature story on Lane Frost inspired over 284,000 unique visitors to tune in to the Wrangler Network over 25 years after his career ended.

The Lane Frost bull riding event is currently in conversation with the Wrangler Network to broadcast all future events.

Lane’s legacy lives on through Cousin Joe Frost who is currently one of the top ten bull riders in the world.
