COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Luck and skill combined to make the highest-scored rides and the fastest runs during St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Those lucky enough to win the final round of RodeoHouston found their pot of gold worth $50,000.

Bareback rider Kaycee Feild scored 92 points on Korkow Rodeo’s Onion Ring at RodeoHouston, March 16.

Steer wrestler Jason Thomas clocked in at 3.7 seconds at the Goliad (Texas) County Fair & PRCA Rodeo, March 17.

Two sets of team ropers made 4.4-second runs this week. Tanner Green and Paden Bray made their run at the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show & Rodeo in Mercedes, Texas, March 16. Meanwhile, Jake Cooper and Caleb Anderson made their run during the Wild Card round at RodeoHouston.

Saddle bronc rider Zeke Thurston scored 91 points on Korkow Rodeo’s Bad Onion at RodeoHouston, March 15.

Tie-down roper Shad Mayfield finished at the top with an 8.0-second run at the Goliad (Texas) County Fair & PRCA Rodeo, March 16.

Barrel racer Nellie Williams-Miller made a 14.29-second run at RodeoHouston, March 15.

Bull rider Sage Kimzey scored 93 points on Cervi Championship rodeo’s Dueces at RodeoHouston during the Wild Card round.

With $528,280 in prize money up for grabs at Rodeo Austin (Texas) from March 16-30 and the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo happening Thursday through Sunday in Kissimmee, Fla., the coming week’s top scores and fastest times are sure to pay off royally.
