SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The PBR’s (Professional Bull Riders) Stormy Wing posted 88 points on Legacy (2K Bucking Bulls) to win Round 1 of the Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) Sacramento Invitational in front of more than 11,000 fans at Sleep Train Arena on Friday night.

With his return to competition, two-time PBR World Champion J.B. Mauney placed second in the round, covering Hash Tag (Flying U/Cindy Rosser) for 86.5 points and collecting 60 world standings points.

Eduardo Aparecido picked up 50 world standings points with his third-place finish, riding Houla Hoop (Humpz and Hornz/Sis & Stan Bucking Bulls) for 85.75 points, while Fabiano Vieira placed fourth in the round for 40 points toward the world standings with an 85.5-point ride on Americana (Dakota Rodeo/Chad Berger/Hruby/Kainz).

Lachlan Richardson produced an 85.25-point effort atop El Captain (Humpz and Hornz/Sis & Stan Bucking Bulls) for fifth place and 30 world standing points. Rookie sensation Derek Kolbaba rode Blowing Smoke (Humpz and Hornz/Sis & Stan Bucking Bulls) for 84.5 points, placing sixth and collecting 15 points toward the world standings. Ben Jones rounded out the Top 7 with 84.25 points on Criminal Intent (Dakota Rodeo/Chad Berger/Clay Struve) for five world standings points.

Round 2 and the Built Ford Tough Championship Round of the Sacramento Invitational take place Saturday, Feb. 6 at 6:50 p.m. PT. CBS Sports Network will broadcast the competition at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday, Feb. 7.
