Wrangler Tour Reno Rodeo Upcoming

 
The next stop on the Wrangler ProRodeo Tour is the Reno (Nev.) Rodeo. The rodeo runs from June 15-23. The total committee purse of the 2017 Reno (Nev.) Rodeo was $300,000, which was tied with the Ponoka (Alberta) Stampede for the 12th-highest committee purse last season. The total payout for the 2017 Reno Rodeo was $491,909.

One of the top competitors at the Reno Rodeo this year is steer wrestler Dakota Eldridge. The Elko, Nev., cowboy, a five-time qualifier for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, will try adding to his impressive career resume in Reno.

The video above shows Eldridge in action at the 2017 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo when he won Round 7 in 3.3 seconds. His time was the fastest of the 2017 Wrangler NFR. It also tied his career-best time at the NFR. He also was 3.3 seconds when he won Round 9 at the 2014 NFR.

Eldridge won the NFR average title in 2015 and 2017.

The Division 1 Xtreme Bulls event will take place June 14 in Reno, followed by the Reno Rodeo. The X Bulls and Reno Rodeo, all performances, will be livestreamed by www.wranglernetwork.com.
