J.R. Vezain Rehabs in Utah

Pro bareback rider J.R. Vezain from Cowley, Wyoming was crushed under a horse that flipped over on him at a September rodeo in Texas and since then the entire rodeo family has given incredible support up to and including Pro Rodeo Cowboys Association CEO George Taylor who offered his private plane to take Vezain and his wife Shelby to and from the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas this week. They are living in Salt Lake City where the physical therapy is rigorous five days a week. J.R. would have been competing at his sixth WNFR. The Vezains have a home in Melstone, Montana on Shelby’s family ranch. Spending a day with Team Vezain in Salt Lake provides ample evidence J.R. is going to one day walk again. Shelby is carrying their first child and that boy will grow up in a house filled with love and deep Christian faith. We are most thankful to Neuroworx in Sandy, Utah for allowing complete and open access on Monday.
