A Performance for the Decades

Mia Manzaneras put the McNeese State University team on her back and carried them to the top by winning two events in one unbelievable College National Finals Rodeo championship round night. She majors in ‘Health & Human Performance’ and must be acing that curriculum because Manzanares is a marvelous human being. She matched the Casper Events Center arena record in breakaway roping and tied a goat (aboard her horse Casper) in under six seconds to amass 480 points at the CNFR and win the All-Around title. Mia’s efforts also gave the McNeese State women the national championship. Courtesy of Wrangler Network contributor Charlie Coon.
