Fun Facts about Dakota: He is just as excited for his 10th Wrangler National Finals as he was for his first in 2013. He only missed the 10 rounds of competition in 2018 because of a knee injury that required surgery and lots of rehab. Dakota is married to Quincy Freeman who he met during high school rodeo. They have two daughters, Sally and Ruby. The family makes their home in California but Dakota will always call Nevada home. A passionate hunter and outdoorsman, he always finds some time in October to look for that next trophy. November is spent with family and getting practice in for the NFR. Dakota loves the Thomas and Mack Arena and there is no place he would rather compete to represent the state he was born and raised in.
