Fun Facts about Riley: He first went to the WNFR with his grandparents as a child and sat in the stands watching. He did that again in 2021 after his brother and primary roping partner made it and Riley finished in the crying hole. Riley still took horses and ropes to Las Vegas and competed at the World Series of Team Roping events with Cory Petska. They sat in the stands of the Thomas and Mack Center and saw their partners win the second round of the 2021 WNFR. The next day, Riley and Corey won the open roping and $77,000. Riley’s wife Jordan is also a talented competitor in the barrel racing. They have two daughters, Monroe and McCoy that will be cheering on their dad and uncle at this year’s WNFR.
