Fun Facts about Jade: He made history this year at Cheyenne Frontier Days be becoming the first team roper to win it back-to-back. Last year he got the win in Wyoming with partner Clay Smith. This year he won it with Clay Tryan. They also won it in 2013 and Jade won it with Chad Masters in 2009. He is the winningest team roper in the history of the legendary rodeo. Jade is the stuff that legends are made of. His family has been ranching in Nevada since the 1860s. He has ridden some of the best heel horses in the history of rodeo and has been successful with a multitude of partners. He started this year with Clay Smith who he roped with at last year’s WNFR. Then before the summer run started roping with Clay Tryan who he won his last two world championships with. The one thing that never changes with Jade is his love for his family and enjoyment of his two boys, Colby and Kelton.
