Fun Facts about Margo: Her family all survived Hurricane Ian and now with her first WNFR qualification she is having “Florida Strong” t-shirts made with her back number on them and donating proceeds to Ian’s victims. Margo is a mom of three and leaving her family to pursue her dreams was one of the hardest decisions, but most well supported that she ever made. Her horse, She’s Packin Fame, “Sissy,” is a rockstar that made an end-of-season push to get this team to Vegas. They won the Cinch Playoffs at the Puyallup Rodeo at the Washington State Fair, moved to 8th in the world standing and headed from the northwest corner of the U.S. back home to south Florida. Crowther has been a barrel racer most of her life and a highlight for her has been going to barrel races with her mom and daughter and seeing three generations of horsewomen be successful. She got a rodeo scholarship to Vernon (Texas) College, used that and transferred to Tarleton State University at Stephenville, Texas. While competing in college she got her WPRA card and was working towards a goal of an WNFR qualification when she lost her good horse. She has a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing and has put that to good use in and out of the arena.
