Fun Facts about Sissy: She had a great winter and was well inside the top 15. With her two horses “Chewy” and “Scoop,” she won $31,260. Things slowed down and the rodeo rollercoaster started after that. She found herself just outside of the top 15 with 30 days left in the season. In those 30 days, she added $25,687 to finish the regular season in 11th. A lot of all-night drives and staying the course paid off for Sissy and her team. She also accomplished something that many rodeo contestants say is the hardest thing to do – won her hometown rodeo. She lives at Chapman, just outside of Corpus Christi. She won the Buc Days Rodeo part of the World Champions Rodeo Alliance. While the money she won there doesn’t count in the WPRA, the win was a personal accomplishment for Sissy. When she loads Chewy and Scoop on the trailer she always has room for two more as each of them has a companion mini horse.
