After The Crown: Jennifer Fisk, Miss Rodeo Rodeo Nevada 2019

I had the pleasure of interviewing Jennifer Fisk. She was our Miss Rodeo Nevada 2019. She currently lives in Northern Nevada and works as a Medical Sales Representative. She now enjoys spending a lot of time outdoors – regardless of the season. She paddle boards, hikes, and plays beach volleyball at Lake Tahoe in the summer. During winter, she snowboards and snowshoes with her dog Kali (deemed her partner in crime for it all).

For the future, she hopes to use her degree in veterinary science to work in the veterinary medical field as a representative for vaccines, medication, and devices. She has loved staying in touch with all the girls from her year and celebrating milestones together like weddings, kids, and buying houses. Her reign gave her several skills that she still uses today. Jen said, “I learned how to conduct myself professionally. Holding a state title puts you in a position where you create a reputation for yourself you want to be remembered and known by and that etiquette and professionalism go a long way.” She finished with her best advice for current and future queens saying, “ Take in every opportunity this year offers, say “yes” as much as you can, and always remember you can learn something from the people around you – other queens, rodeo personnel, fans, kids, etc., absorb it all!”
