Behind The Chaps: Miss Rodeo Oklahoma

My Miss Rodeo Oklahoma chaps have been hauled many miles. They were made in 2009 for Sydney Spencer-Rogers when she won Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Teen. They then were her chaps when she was Miss Rodeo Oklahoma in 2016. When I won Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Teen in 2017, Sydney let me use them for my year. Now, as Miss Rodeo Oklahoma 2022, they will travel with me once more. These chaps are special to me because Sydney is like the big sister I never had. She is kind, compassionate, and works so hard for everything she has. I love that I can continue with the chaps she designed and loved for another year.

I don’t know who will wear the chaps next, but I know they will be cherished and see many more rodeo lights.
