Bloomer Trailers Raises $223, 500 for Texas High School Rodeo Association through Their 2020 Bloomer Trailer Raffle

Salado, TX —Bloomer Trailers, a custom horse trailer manufacturer based out of Salado, TX, has worked with the Texas High School Rodeo Association to raise $1,696,500.00 over the past twelve years.

Each year, Texas High School Rodeo Athletes sell raffle tickets for a custom Bloomer Trailer that is donated by Bloomer Trailers. The money from these raffle tickets are donated back to the organization to help encourage and support youth rodeo athletes across Texas.

Randy Bloomer, the owner and CEO of Bloomer Trailers, started this program in 2009, raising $90,100 in the first year. Since the inception of this program, they have doubled the money raised in only eleven years. The total raised this year was $223,500, “We have been able to raise a lot for Texas High School Rodeo Association. To us, to see the number double means shows that there are a lot of people working behind the scenes to accomplish this feat. The regions put in the work and we are able to build a trailer to accommodate that. It is a team effort that I am proud to be a part of,” said Bloomer.

No other brand does more then youth rodeo athletes then Bloomer Trailers and that is something they are proud to represent, “We dedicated ourselves to the youth program 14 years ago, as a way to help our western way of life flourish on for generations. To us, this is our way of doing our part as a western manufacturer. As a brand, we wanted to encourage THSRA athletes through scholarships and additional prizes. We hoped that it would make the journey in this organization even more rewarding,” said Bloomer, “To us, our goal has been to keep the youth interested in our way of life. We are proud to continue this tradition and we hope to see it grow each year. Our goal has always been to raise $2 million and we would like to be the first company to accomplish that for THSRA youth athletes.”

Traditionally, Randy Bloomer and various Bloomer Trailer High School Rodeo members reveal the money raised in the arena at Texas High School Rodeo Finals, however this year they changed the presentation by going live on Facebook with various Bloomer Trailers employees to share how much they earned and who the winner was. On June 5, 2020, Jake Bloomer, a Dealer Coordinator at Bloomer Trailers, drew the winner of the 2020 Bloomer Trailer Raffle giveaway live on Facebook and Randy Bloomer made the call to the winner. “Presenting this live was nerve wrecking,” Randy Bloomer laughed, “But it was so worth it. We were able to call the winner and hear how excited she was. It was joy in the purest fashion. To hear her excitement and know that this trailer will help her family was a rewarding experience.”

Moving forward, Bloomer Trailers, will continue to support youth rodeo because they believe the foundation of a stronger industry, starts with the younger generation.
