History of the Crown: Miss Rodeo Nevada

The Miss Rodeo Nevada crown was first worn by Miss Rodeo Nevada 2004, Selena Ulch Pope who went on to hold the title of Miss Rodeo America 2005. Crumrine Silver, Reno, Nevada created the new crown. The intricate silver scroll work with gold lettering highlights the mining industry in the Silver State. The blue “Nevada” lettering ties in our flag colors. Since 1957, there have been 6 different crowns, one being a simple state pin worn by Miss Rodeo Nevada 1972, Pam Martin Minick who went on to hold the title of Miss Rodeo America 1973. The Miss Rodeo Nevada crown and those who wear it will always shine brightly under the blue Nevada skies.
