History of the Crown: Miss Rodeo Washington

Bordering Canada, northern Idaho, Oregon and the Pacific Ocean, Washington State is home to 7.6 million residents, living in one of the most scenic states in the union.

The Miss Rodeo Washington crown not only reflects the shape of the 42nd state, it features a mountain range, paying homage to the Evergreen state’s mountains: Rainer, Olympus, St. Helens, Baker and Adams. Between these mountains, and scattered throughout the state, lies some of the richest agriculture property in the world, as illustrated by the green gemstones.

My crown is made out of the finest Montana Silversmith silver, and each titleholder who has the good fortune to wear this crown, has the opportunity to represent all that Washington has to offer.

I am one of Washington’s residents, Madi Casto, Miss Rodeo Washington 2020-2021.
