Miss Rodeo America: January Update

A Photo Journey with… Jordan Tierney Miss Rodeo America 2021

  • Miss Rodeo Canada 2020 - Alicia Erickson and I found a little slice of Las Vegas in the Lone Star State!
  • Anytime I get to catch up with the amazing Judy Wagner, Montana Silversmiths VP Marketing and Communications is always a treat! At the PRCA Award Ceremony I helped present awards and what a true testament to the resilience of the western spirit!
  • Signing autographs at Boot Barn and I snagged my picture with the Jr. Princess North Texas 2020 - Hayden Slagle! Such a sweet little girl!
  • The first ever National Finals Breakaway Roping took place in Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX and what a historical event it was! Jackie Crawford took home the inaugural title, but what was truly special for me was getting to watch Kirby Eppert of Seneca, NE compete! She is ranked 12th in the 2020 World Standings.
  • Alex is the first person everyone got to meet upon entering Globe Life Field's arena. Alex was responsible for taking the temperature of all persons entering for Wrangler NFR and I finally got my picture with him. He always had a smile on his face and kept that positive attitude for all 10 rounds.
  • I had the pleasure to attend the Wrangler Gold Buckle ProRodeo Hall of Fame Gala with Miss Rodeo Canada 2020 - Alicia Erickson. The event took place at Billy Bobs Texas where Bob Tallman was honored for his achievements in the rodeo industry. Bob is truly a living legend and so deserving of the awards he received the week of the Wrangler NFR.
  • Thank you to the PRCA for the opportunity to help hand out back numbers to the contestants at the Welcome Reception. Receiving those red velvet numbers is such a monumental moment for those contestants! Also, thank you to Malinda Crews for creating this beautiful green emerald gown.
  • I had the chance to meet my beautiful mother, Robin Tierney at the Ft. Worth Stockyards on her birthday! In true Robin fashion she found the restaurant that served the largest chicken fried steak and it was beyond amazing!
  • Thank you to Kay Miller for capturing me carrying the Wrangler flag on Canada night at the Wrangler NFR held at the Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX!
  • Thank you to the Gay family of Rafter G Rodeo, for having me help with flag girl duties! Most nights before the performance we would take a picture in front of the “Welcome to Texas” sign! It was so great getting to know these 20 plus girls and work alongside of them.
  • It’s always fun to run into familiar faces while at the Fort Worth Stockyards! These gentlemen are part of the Days of ‘76 rodeo committee from Deadwood, SD. Congratulations to them for winning the PRCA Large Outdoor Rodeo of the Year award. In 2018, I attended Days of '76 as a first time Rodeo Queen!
  • Chief taking care of me on our round 9 presentation wave in the Globe Life arena! He is a beautiful and well rounded horse. When I found out Bronc Rumford owned him, it made complete sense to me why he was so great!
