#TeamWrangler Makes a Mark at Clark County Fair & Rodeo

The first Silver Tour stop on the Wrangler Million Dollar Tour presented by Justin Boots took place this past weekend in Logandale, Nev,. at the Clark County Fair & Rodeo. This year, more than 500 of the nation’s best ProRodeo athletes came out to compete for more than $250,000 in prize money.

Leading the Wrangler Million Dollar Tour standings for saddle bronc riding, Team Wrangler member Wade Sundell clinched another win at the Clark County Fair Rodeo by tying with Cort Scheer with 84 points on Growney Brothers’ Holy Hoppin Hell. His first tour win of the year was at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo where he scored 90 points on Big Tex to capture the saddle bronc title, a first for his career.

Another Team Wrangler member joining Wade in the winner’s circle is team roper and seven-time Wrangler National Finals Rodeo world champion Jake Barnes. This marks the first Wrangler Million Dollar Tour win of 2014 for Jake and his partner, Junior Nogueria. The duo just started roping together this year and are already putting their mark on the rodeo community.

The second Silver Tour stop on the horizon for the Wrangler Million Dollar Tour is the Red Bluff Round-Up which will be taking place April 18 to 20. The Wrangler Network will be offering exclusive live stream coverage of the rodeo’s second performance April 19 at 2:30 p.m. PDT. To watch live, click here.
