WEATHER GUARD World Standings Watch: Timber Moore

Tallest Timber in Texas doesn’t fall, but rises to the top!
WEATHER GUARD PRCA World Standings WATCH
Timber Moore – Aubrey, TX moves to #1 in Tie-Down – $83,095

Timber Moore Blog 1

Timber has been in hot pursuit over the last 30 days and was still $30,000 behind at the end of June, but has climbed weekly from 10th, to 6th, 2nd and now has a $7k lead. Winning a round in Cheyenne and being the champion in Rock Springs gave him the bump he needed over the weekend. In the 2016 season Timber has won the Gladewater TX Round-Up, the Greeley Stampede, the Waller County Fair & Rodeo, the Strawberry Days Rodeo and the Young County Rodeo in Graham, TX. Moore also put the Windy Ryon Memorial Roping in the W column this year after winning the Barry Burk Roping in Ardmore, OK in the same weekend.

His career started early with a father that came from a ranching and cutting background and a mother that grew up in the rodeo stock contractor lifestyle giving Timber the atmosphere to become one of the best cowboys in the sport. He’s qualified for the National High School Finals, won the title of rookie of the year in the CPRA in 2007, and has qualified 4 times to the WNFR. What little I’ve been around Timber and watched him closley he truly comes across as a real competitor, disciplined in his craft and with his horses. When things are working he actually makes it look so easy. Check out this 7.4 second run from San Antonio.

Others you should continue to “watch” that have made the jump this week are Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira now both TR #1, Rocky Patterson now #1 in steer roping, Josh Peek #1 in the WEATHER GUARD PRCA All-Around World Standings, and the Canadian Orin Larsen who won Cheyenne and moved to #2 in BB.

Don’t miss a chance to “watch” the new leader in the Resistol Rookie for bull riding and winner of Cheyenne, Roscoe Jarboe. He is making a difference and on his way to the WNFR!
