Saddle bronc rider Shorty Garrett earned $8,157 over the weekend to nearly double his season earnings. Garrett moved up 9 spots in the PRCA | RAM World Standings, jumping from 24th to 15th.
Steer roper Kim Ziegelgruber moved 28 spots into the Top 15 of the PRCA | RAM World Standings. “God’s really blessed me with some really good horses,” Ziegelgruber said.
Saddle bronc rider Ben Andersen moved up 25 spots in the PRCA | RAM World Standings. This jump was worth more than just the money earned, “It’s the realization that the NFR isn’t that far out of a guy’s grasp,” Andersen said.
Tie-down roping has traditionally been Reno Gonzales’s strong point, but halfway through March, Gonzales has already won more this season as a team roping heeler. Gonzales has moved from 34th to 13th in the PRCA | RAM World Standings.
