She has served on the presidency of a women’s organization in her church where she taught lessons, planned activities for skill development and organized service efforts such as tying quilts for homeless shelters.

“I am proud to be an American cowgirl. Rodeo has influenced my life in a way I cannot imagine living without. When I took my first step into rodeo, I discovered an environment that promotes the values I was raised with and love. I found the encouragement to improve and strive for the best while among a rodeo family that spans our entire country. Rodeo is truly a sport born of the American West. Honor, integrity, patriotism, and spirit, as wild as the mustang on the range, breathing life into this sport and allow for America’s beauty to shine in all those whose influence it touches. I believe the same spirit lies in the soul of each of us, waiting to shine. As Miss Rodeo America, my hope would be to carry this spirit into the lives of those ready to live it!”
