Ashton, Nebraska, the foothill of the sandhills, is where Joeli Walrath calls home. The 23-year-old is proud of her agricultural roots which taught her the value and rewards of hard work. Joeli graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. Her goal is to develop the next generation of world champion rough stock animal athletes through furthering genetic selection research. Joeli hopes within her two years as Miss Rodeo Nebraska to have inspired others through her motto “Be True. Be You!” to embrace their God-given uniqueness and always be genuine.
