MORGAN BLACKHURST
MISS RODEO TENNESSEE
VOLUNTEER STATE

Morgan Blackhurst (Tennessee)

From Nashville, Tennessee, Morgan Blackhurst is a graduate from Utah State University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Agricultural Communications and Journalism. She completed a dual degree with an emphasis in Public Relations and an Agribusiness Management minor. In the future, she plans to apply to law schools in Tennessee and practice entertainment law representing individuals who make a real difference in the world through their art.

Traveling is by far Morgan’s favorite hobby as well as golfing, boating, camping, reading and going to any type of live music show. She has spent many hours volunteering for after school programs teaching kids about why the American Cowboy is important to everyone.

“The sport of rodeo has given me countless opportunities – opportunities to learn, opportunities to grow and opportunities to give. Wearing the Miss Rodeo America crown will allow me to continue to do all those things while realizing my dream. The crown embodies the dreams and goals I have had since I was a little girl. To me, there is no greater honor than representing my sport, my family and my heritage with a true cowgirl spirit, all while turning every one I meet into a rodeo fan. Miss Rodeo America is an
important job, and one that I could carry out with dignity, class, professionalism and grace.”
