86th Annual Sheridan WYO Rodeo Set for July 13-16

Four performances of PRCA-sanctioned Wrangler Silver Million Dollar Tour action

SHERIDAN, Wyo., — Tickets for the 86th Annual Sheridan WYO Rodeo are on sale now online and at the WYO Theater. This year’s “WYO” will be held Wednesday through Saturday, July 13th -16th , with four nights of PRCA-sanctioned rodeo performances at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds. Sheridan’s premier annual tourism event will continue as a major stop on the rodeo trail for the nation’s top rodeo contestants. For the seventh consecutive year, the WYO is an elite Million Dollar Silver Tour Rodeo, making it one of the top 30 PRCA rodeos in the country. NFR stock contractor Sankey Rodeo Co. joins the WYO again to provide top animal athletes to match up against top PRCA competitors. The crowd-pleasing Kids Wild Pony Races will also return, along with the ever-popular World Champion Indian Relay Races. Dana Bowman, Sgt. First Class (Ret.) U.S. Army, former member of the U.S. Army’s elite parachute team, and double-amputee, will return again to parachute into the arena with the American flag each night.

For the first time during rodeo week, the WYO will play host to the National Stagecoach and Freight Wagon Association’s 9th Annual Conference. As always, family fun runs throughout rodeo week, July 11th through the 17th, with the boot kick-off, pancake breakfast, bed races, parade, POW-WOW, carnival, street dances and more. The WYO has broken attendance records for seven consecutive years and sold more than 24,000 tickets to guests from 46 states, nine countries and two Canadian provinces last year.
