Boudreaux Campbell Dealing with Downtime

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boudreaux Campbell wants to be rodeoing like every PRCA cowboy.

The Crockett, Texas, cowboy is doing his best to pass the time while rodeos are on hold due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

“I’m just trying to keep busy,” said Campbell, 21.

Campbell is fourth in the 2020 PRCA | RAM World Standings. His big win this season came at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Xtreme Bulls Division 1 event Feb. 22.

Campbell won the event with an 89-point ride on 4L & Diamond S Rodeo’s Ferdinand in the finals at the AT&T Center.

Campbell earned $17,833 for his ride in the finals and left town with $20,333 – $2,500 from placing second in the long round with an 82-point ride on Andrews Rodeo’s Rodeo Time.

A year ago, Campbell finished a career-best second in the world standings. He won Round 6 and Round 9 at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo and earned $217,801 in Las Vegas.
