California Rodeo & Big Week Bull Riding Tickets on Sale May 5th

SALINAS SPORTS COMPLEX TICKET OFFICE WILL OPEN FOR WALK-UP SALES

SALINAS, CA – The California Rodeo Salinas is moving back to traditional third week in July dates and will celebrate 112 years of tradition July 21st through 24th, 2022. The Big Week Bull Riding will happen July 20th and be part of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association Xtreme Bulls Tour. Tickets for these events go on sale at 10am on Thursday, May 5th online at www.carodeo.com or in person at the Salinas Sports Complex Ticket Office at 1034 N. Main Street in Salinas.

The 2022 Big Week Bull Riding presented by Salinas Valley Ford will feature riders from the PRCA’s Xtreme Bulls Tour for the first time. The Xtreme Bulls Tour showcases the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association’s top bull riders and bulls. Xtreme Bulls competitors include top bull riders from the PRCA l RAM World Standings as well as contestants who advance through Xtreme Bulls qualifying events. Ticket prices are $14 for select children’s grandstand seats, $35 for adult upper grandstand seats, $46 for adult lower grandstand seats and $63-$68 for box seats (all ages) depending on location.*

The California Rodeo Salinas is the largest rodeo in California and #9 in the US out of over 500 professional rodeos. Over 600 talented cowboys and cowgirls travel to Salinas for a chance to win the coveted belt buckles awarded in each event including the women’s breakaway roping, women’s barrel racing, bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, team roping, steer wrestling and tie-down roping. Chuckwagons will race in the arena and action like mutton busting, clown acts, trick riding and more takes place on the track that surrounds the arena. Tickets are $12 for children’s general admission (no assigned seats), $20 for adult general admission (no assigned seats) and $25 for adult grandstand seats.* Contact the ticket office at tickets@carodeo.com to inquire about available box seats.

Entry passes for the Coors Banquet Bull Xing Cantina for Wednesday, July 20th and Friday, July 22nd will also go on sale at 10am on May 5th and will be available online only. This year the Bull Xing entry and Bull Riding or Rodeo entry will be a combination ticket; limit of 5 per order. This includes general admission into the event and admission into the Coors Banquet Bull Xing Cantina. There is no cover charge to the Bull Xing Cantina on Thursday, July 21st or Saturday, July 23rd. Monster Jam tickets for June 26th are already on sale online along with tickets for the Big Week Kick Off Concert featuring Toby Keith Friday, July 15th and the Banda MS concert Saturday, July 16th, but all will be available for walk-up purchases starting May 5th at 10am.
