Finals Set for Reno Rodeo Saturday
The Reno Rodeo is one of the top regular season rodeos in the PRCA and a key stop on the NFR Playoff Series.
Some of the best cowboys and cowgirls were competing in Reno Friday and they help finalize who will be competing in the finals Saturday.
There will be 12 contestants in each event vying for the big checks on Saturday night, which is expected to have a rodeo record payout of around $730,000.
“This is what we come here to do (win the big check in the finals),” said Chad Rutherford, who won the bareback riding Friday night in Reno. “That was the game plan and things worked out.”
