#InCaseYouMissedIt: Lima Comes Full Circle in Little Rock, Alvidrez Makes a Splash and More

By: Darci Miller

One year after being cut from the Unleash The Beast in Little Rock, Ramon de Lima got his redemption. Meanwhile, Andrew Alvidrez’s UTB debut was worth the five-year wait, Stetson Lawrence made the world’s shortest trip to the Velocity Tour and Dakota Buttar is PBR Canada’s Mr. Perfect. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.

On the Unleash The Beast…

Everyone loves a comeback story, and Ramon de Lima just wrote a great one. Lima was cut from the premier series in Little Rock in 2019, but in Little Rock in 2020 he went 3-for-3 to earn his first UTB win since 2018.

World No. 3 Joao Ricardo Vieira was able to inch closer to the No. 1 ranking after a Round 1-winning performance.

In his premier series debut, Andrew Alvidrez got the first qualified ride of his UTB career in Round 1

…and emphatically entered the Rookie of the Year conversation with a second-place overall finish.

Marco Eguchi was out for four weeks recovering from a concussion, but you wouldn’t know it based on his Round 2-winning performance.

With the world No. 1 and No. 2 bull riders out of competition with injuries, Colten Jesse is ready to step up and make a move.

Speaking of injuries, in Little Rock, Bradley Brittain tore his ACL/MCL, Fabiano Vieira suffered a hip strain and more.

Meanwhile, on the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour…

Last weekend, Stetson Lawrence was cut from the premier series. This weekend, Stetson Lawrence won the Bangor Classic to earn a berth back on the premier series.

Up north in PBR Canada…

With his event win and 3-for-3 performance at the PBR Canada Monster Energy Tour stop in Lethbridge, Dakota Buttar improved his record in PBR Canada competition in 2020 to 10-for-10.

Down Under in PBR Australia…

There’s a new Aussie No. 1 in town, as Lachlan Richardson went 2-for-2 to win the Ballarat Stampede.
