After a rough stretch, Jesse Petri got things back on track in a big way in the Big Easy. Plus, Mason Taylor chats about being traded to the Nashville Stampede, Kyler Oliver is finally feeling healthy, and more. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.

On the Unleash The Beast…

Jesse Petri hadn’t recorded a qualified ride on the premier series since early February. But that all changed this weekend in New Orleans, as he won the PBR Union Home Mortgage Invitational to crack the Top 10 in the Unleash The Beast standings.

Dalton Kasel won Round 1 in New Orleans with another 90-point ride – his league-leading fifth 90-point ride of the season.

Mason Taylor has now been traded twice in the PBR Team Series, but he thinks he’s now home with the defending champion Nashville Stampede.

After a year of injuries, Kyler Oliver considered calling it a career. But he’s finally back to feeling good and finished second overall in New Orleans – there’s still plenty more good bull riding in him!

Meanwhile, on the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour…

Kyle Jones took the lead in Round 1 of the Wheeling Invitational in West Virginia…

…but Alex Marcilio went 2-for-3 to take the event win.

Across the country in Fresno, California, Ray Mayo won Round 1 of the Fresno Invitational…

…but Jaxton Mortensen ultimately notched his first Velocity Tour event win thanks to his 2-for-3 performance.

What’s up next on the docket?

The Unleash The Beast rolls on in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with the PBR Ty Murray Invitational, presented by the Downs Racetrack & Casino, on March 24-26 (March 24 at 9:45 p.m. ET and March 25 at 8:45 p.m. ET on RidePass on Pluto TV; March 26 at noon ET on CBS; March 26 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network).

The Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour continues on March 25 with the Oakland Classic in Oakland, California.

In the Touring Pro Division, the PBR Stockyards Showcase continues in Fort Worth, Texas, on March 23 (8:30 p.m. ET on RidePass on Pluto TV). There will also be action in Amarillo with the Spring Fling Amarillo PBR on March 24-25.
