Live Country Music Returns to the Nashville North Stage at Stampede 2021

Calgary – The Nashville North lineup is set and country music is coming home to the Calgary Stampede. The legendary venue for live country is back for Stampede 2021 – with the most acts ever to grace the Nashville North stage. If you’re ready to get out and enjoy live country music, this will be the place to kick off your summer.

“It is exciting to have live music return to the stage this year, and with almost 40 artists, it’s the biggest lineup we have had in the venue’s history,” says Kyle Corner, Manager, Stampede Programming. “This year we are excited to put the spotlight on home-grown talent with an all-Canadian lineup of artists, making this music experience like no other.”

Stampede 2021 will be a bit different, as will your 2021 Nashville North experience. Nashville North will operate with additional safety precautions starting with a new look and location. The world-class live country music venue has been adjusted to a canopy-style tent for more distancing and airflow and will be located at the heart of Stampede Park next to the Stampede Grandstand.

“We recognize the Stampede is leading the way in Canada in a return to live events,” says Corner, adding, “We are also leading the way with safety measures, seeking out and combining best practices from across North America.”

Digital queuing will be used to prevent lineups outside of Nashville North, and the Stampede continues to review all operations of the venue including rapid testing and proof of vaccination for entry to the tent. In the weeks ahead, we will be making decisions according to the evolving conditions and recommendations from health experts. We will post the most up-to-date information on decisions pertaining to this year’s event on our website.
