PRCA Weekly Recap: Nov. 4-10

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Cowboys had to travel to the coast for some ProRodeo action the first full week of November as there were only two competitions – one in Florida and the other in California.

The RAM Southeastern Circuit Finals Rodeo in Davie, Fla., boasted a $225,140 payout that had the circuit’s top cowboys racing for their share of the prize money and a qualification to the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo in the spring. With so much on the line, nearly all of the top scores and fastest runs Nov. 4-10 occurred at the RAM SCFR.

The fastest times and highest scores might not always make the record book, but they make a lasting memory for fans and competitors. With more than 700 PRCA competitions across the Western Hemisphere, there are plenty of opportunities to make a memorable ride.

Although the prize money differs from one competition to the next, the judging remains consistent across the board.

In addition to the fame that comes with winning the most prize money, each ride was a chance to be the best of the week. Here’s a look at the highest scores and fastest times for each event Nov. 4-10.

Bareback rider Trey Moore III posted an 86.5-point ride on Five Star Rodeo’s Spots And Dots at the RAM SCFR, Nov. 7.

Steer wrestler Kyle Irwin nailed a 3.3-second run at the RAM SCFR, Nov. 9.
