Reno Rodeo and K-Bull 98.1 FM Announce Headliners for Kickoff Concert June 16

Tickets to see Kip Moore and Travis Denning on sale now

RENO, Nev. – The annual K-BULL 98.1 Reno Rodeo Kickoff Concert is returning to the Outdoor Arena on Wednesday, June 16 with multi-platinum country artist Kip Moore and special guest Travis Denning.

Moore splashed onto the scene in 2012 with the double-platinum hit “Somethin’ Bout a Truck” and followed it up with three more best-selling No. 1s including “Hey Pretty Girl,” “Beer Money” and “More Girls Like You” – a trio of ambitious, critically acclaimed albums and two gritty EPs.

After touring the world headlining his own shows, earning acclaim and a fierce following as an all-in performer, the Georgia native released his fourth studio album, “Wild World,” featuring his latest hit single “She’s Mine.” In addition to writing his own music, over the years Moore has written songs for the likes of Jake Owen, Frankie Ballard and Thompson Square.

Opening for Moore will be fellow Georgia native, Travis Denning. From an early age Denning found inspiration after attending hair-metal icon Mötley Crüe’s show, leading him to hone his musicianship and songwriting chops from that point on. Getting his start penning songs for Jason Aldean, Justin Moore, Chase Rice and tallying his first Top 20 hit as a writer with Michael Ray’s “Her World or Mine,” he knew being on stage was where he belonged.

Denning broke into country music as a solo artist with a double-shot of radio-ready singles including “David Ashley Parker from Powder Springs” and “After a Few,” which rocketed to No.1 and earned a gold certification. After touring with LANCO, Dustin Lynch and others, Denning released his first EP “Beer’s Better Cold” which debuted in the Top 20 of Billboard’s Country Albums chart.

General Admission tickets for the Reno Rodeo Kickoff Concert are $55 and include open seating in the grandstands or standing in the arena. Reno Rodeo box seat holders will be given the first right of refusal for their seats. Box Seat tickets are $65. In addition to the concert, the carnival grounds, food court and Jack Daniels Tent will be open to the public with no grounds fee on the night of the concert.

Tickets are available in-person at the K-BULL studios at 595 East Plumb Lane Reno Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with no handling or service fees, online at kbul.com and ticketweb.com or on the K-BULL Facebook page.
