Reno Rodeo Day Eight Results

RENO, Nev. – The evening kicked off with an exhilarating round of bareback, with Jacob Lees of Caldwell, ID taking the best score of the night with an 86. That made him the 2nd round leader. Unfortunately, he didn’t have a qualified ride on the first go-round so he didn’t make the final cut.

The saddle broncs were friendly to the riders tonight with six riders earning an 80 or higher. It was Dawson Hay and Lefty Holman who shared the victory lap, both earning an 85.

The sold-out crowd saw the fastest run of the week with Wenda Johnson’s lightning-quick 16.85-second turn around the barrels. Hailey Kinsel’s 16.97 run set the second-fastest time of the week.

On his first time back in Reno in 12 years J.B. Mauney tied the highest score of the week in bull riding with an 89.
