Reno Rodeo Foundation to Partner With Sierra Car Wash for Spring Denim Drive Collections

RENO, Nev.  – The Reno Rodeo Foundation is partnering with Sierra Car Wash for a spring Denim Drive drop-off event. Throughout the month of April the community can donate duds or dollars at four Sierra Car Wash locations and will be entered to win 2021 Reno Rodeo tickets with any cash donations during the grand opening event April 8–11.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Sierra Car Wash for a fun old-fashioned car wash fundraiser and offer Northern Nevada the opportunity to come out and support the Reno Rodeo Foundation’s mission to serve abused and neglected infants, children and teens who have been rescued from unfit homes,” said Scott Peterson, Reno Rodeo Foundation president.

Sierra Car Wash will be offering membership specials and raffling three-month unlimited car wash plans all weekend long at the new Longley Lane and Prater Way locations.

Donors can make monetary donations online on the Reno Rodeo Foundation website or can text “Denim Drive” to 44321. Clothing and other items are distributed throughout the year by the Reno Rodeo volunteers, in partnership with the Washoe County Human Services Agency and the Nevada State Department of Child and Family Services.

Throughout the month of April, new clothing and cash donations will be collected at the following Sierra Car Wash locations:

• 4991 Longley Ln., Reno, NV 89502
• 2331 Kietzke Ln., Reno, NV 89502
• 720 Nichols Blvd., Sparks, NV 89434
• 9510 S McCarran Blvd., Reno, NV 89523

All cash and clothing donations will be entered into a drawing to win two tickets to the 2021 Reno Rodeo.
