San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Kicks Off Bracket 4

SAN ANTONIO – After rescheduling four rodeo performances due to inclement weather, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo kicked off Bracket 4 without a hitch. Stetson Wright claimed the lead in bull riding with only one other contestant riding for eight seconds.

Here’s a breakdown of winners for each event:

Bareback Riding: Wyoming native Cole Reiner wins the night with an 88 point ride on Vegas Confused of Championship Rodeo Co, bringing home $1,500.00. Reiner started his career in 2019 and won $5,750 during his time competing in the past San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo.

Steer Wrestling: Jesse Brown, 13th in the world standings, took the lead with a 4.7 second time winning $1,500.

Team Roping: World Champion Ropers Colby Lovell and Paul Eaves were fastest of the night with a 4.4 time winning $1,500 respectively.

Saddle Bronc Riding: Canadian Ben Andersen claimed the lead with an 85.5 point ride on Rock Bottle of Andrews Rodeo Co, taking home $1,500.00.

Tie Down Roping: Cooper Martin, 13th in the world, bested the field with a 9 second time taking home $1,500.00.

Barrel Racing: Third in the world and two-time NFR Qualifier, Dona Kay Rule took the lead with a 15.04 second run and a $1,500.00 winning.

Bull Riding: Three time world title holder Stetson Wright riding Alpa Chino of Andrews Rodeo Co, scored an 84.5 taking home $2,200.00.
