Bareback Rider Mason Clements Takes the Lead in Bracket 2 Round 2

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo completed Bracket 2 with 2020 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Bareback Riding Champion Mason Clements winning Round 2.

Here’s a breakdown of winners for each event:

Bareback Riding: Mason Clements wins with an 86.5 point ride on Stace Smith Pro Rodeo’s bronc, Mr. Harry, bringing home $1,500.00.

Steer Wrestling: 2020 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Steer Wrestling Champion Tyler Waguespack, of Gonzales, Louisiana, took the lead with a 4 second time winning $1,500.

Team Roping: Paul David Tierney and Billie Jack Saebens were fastest of the night with a 4.2 time winning $1,500 respectively.

Saddle Bronc Riding: Texas native Cort Scheer claimed the lead with an 86 point ride on In the Lu of J Bar J, taking home $1,500.00.

Tie Down Roping: Marty Yates, winning both rounds in the bracket at San Antonio, bested the field with a 7.7 second time taking home $1,500.00.

Barrel Racing: Carly Taylor was the fastest of the afternoon with a 14.81 second run and a $1,500.00 winning.

Bull Riding: Ruger Piva riding Without Warning of Pickett Pro Rodeo’s, scored an 80 taking home $2,200.00.

Ties in Both Team Roping & Barrel Racing Lead Bracket 3 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo

SAN ANTONIO – At the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo’s start of Bracket 3 this evening, the team roping and barrel racing saw ties for first.

Here’s a breakdown of winners for each event:

Bareback Riding: Tim O’Connell wins with an 8i point ride on Betty’s Boy of Stace Smith Pro Rodeo, bringing home $1,500.00.

Steer Wrestling: Dakota Eldridge, took the lead with a 4.1 second time winning $1,500.

Team Roping: Britt and Jake Smith as well as Hayes Smith and Caleb Anderson tied for fastest of the night with a 5.7 time winning $1,250 respectively.

Saddle Bronc Riding: Brody Cress claimed the lead with an 85 point ride on Umber Bubbles of Calgary Stampede, taking home $1,500.00.

Tie Down Roping: Blake Ash, bested the field with an 8.5 second time taking home $1,500.00.

Barrel Racing: Kricket Gintner and Emily Miller-Beisel took the lead with a 15.35 second run and a $1,250.00 winning.

Bull Riding: Sage Kimzey riding Wicked Sensation of 4L Diamond S Rodeo, scored an 86 taking home $1,500.00.
