Texan Cory Solomon Takes the Lead at San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Semifinals

SAN ANTONIO – Cory Solomon of Hillsboro, Texas takes the lead in tie down roping of the first of two semifinals performances at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo.

Here’s a breakdown of winners for each event:

Bareback Riding: Tilden Hooper wins with a 89.5 point ride on Night Star of Pickett Pro Rodeo, bringing home $3,000.

Steer Wrestling: Dakota Eldridge took the lead with a 3.4 second time winning $3,000.

Team Roping: Clay Tryan and Jake Long were fastest of the night with a 4.2 second time winning $3,000 respectively.

Saddle Bronc Riding: Jake Watson claimed the lead with an 86.5 point ride on Buckin Crazy of Cervi Rodeo, taking home $3,000.

Tie Down Roping: Cory Solomon bested the field with a 7 second time taking home $3,000.

Barrel Racing: Ivy Saebens took the lead with a 14.86 second run and a $3,000 winning.

Bull Riding: Jordan Hansen riding Gladiator’s Hammer of Frontier Rodeo, scored an 89 taking home $3,000.
