The Free Family Fun of Aggie Days Returns This April – Experience Life on the Farm, in the City!

Calgary – Do you ever wonder where your food comes from, and how it makes it from the farm to the table? Aggie Days is back at the Calgary Stampede, celebrating the event’s 35th Anniversary in 2022, providing insight into life on the farm, right here in the city! The community is invited to join us for some free, family-friendly entertainment, and get a sneak-peek of some of the agriculture fun to be had at the 2022 Calgary Stampede!

On Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10, the Nutrien Western Event Centre and Agriculture Barn at Stampede Park will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Stop in to learn more about agriculture and the farm-to-table process, with hands-on activities, agricultural demonstrations and the opportunity to get up close with real farm animals at Aggie Days.

From learning about how fruits and veggies are grown from the farmers who grow them, to rope making, to meeting animals big and small, this free, family-friendly event is not to be missed! Saturday also features the always-exciting Stock Dog demonstrations, and catch the thrilling action of Extreme Cowboy Racing on Sunday.
