Third Annual Reno Rodeo Association Bowling Tournament to Benefit Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund

RENO, Nev. – Registration is open for the 3rd Annual Reno Rodeo Association Bowling Tournament to benefit the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund. The tournament will be held Jan. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Grand Sierra Resort bowling center.

The entry fee for independent teams is $200. Teams may also register as a sponsored team for $40 with the sponsor pledging to donate $5 per spare, $10 per strike and $25 per gutter ball (not to exceed $500). Sponsor benefits include having their company logo featured on the participant t-shirt, lane signage, and inclusion in social media posts about the event.

The winning team and sponsor will be awarded a Montana Silversmith champion buckle.

Last year’s tournament raised more than $9,000 for the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund. The fund was created by the Justin Boot Company in partnership with the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) in order to lend a helping hand to professional rodeo athletes and their families in the event of serious injuries resulting from professional rodeo activities. It aims to fill the void of financial hardship when the inevitable serious injury interferes with the careers of those who have dedicated their lives to the sport.

Teams can register at https://cutt.ly/rodeobowl2020. For more information call the Reno Rodeo Association at 775-329-3877.
