Arizona Ridge Riders Announce Partnership with Genre-Bending Producer/DJ Duo VAVO for New Team Anthem

GLENDALE, Ariz. – Western lifestyle and entertainment brand Teton Ridge, owner of Arizona’s first professional bull riding team, the Arizona Ridge Riders, announced today a partnership with rising producer/DJ Duo VAVO. The team will debut a new anthem, a re-mix of Johnny Cash’s “(Ghost) Riders in the Sky,” during the 2023 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Camping World Team Series culminating in a performance Friday night, Sept. 29, at the annual homestand event, Ridge Riders Days, at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona (Sept. 29 – Oct. 1).
The duo, who are leading the YEEDM movement, describes it as “yeehaw dance music,” mix tracks that are a combination of country and electronic dance music (EDM). Their innovative sound has gone viral, like with their version of Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night (VAVO X DLAY Remix),” which has over 2.3 million views on Youtube and has been embraced by music fans nationwide. The partnership comes as VAVO makes stops throughout some of Western culture’s biggest sporting and music events, including the Calgary Stampede and Electric Zoo in New York City.
“We are so excited to be partnering with such an incredible organization like the AZ Ridge Riders! Over the last couple of months, we really got to know who they are as a team, as well as personally getting to know their riders, who we connected with instantly. They have a fun and out-of-the-box vibe, which is why we feel like this partnership works so well,” said Jesse Fischer and Alden Marten, the DJ Duo behind VAVO. “We also can’t wait to perform for their home crowd in September and to team up with them to bring the YEEDM movement to new heights!”
