Lane Frost – One Last Look from Lane, Oklahoma
A Wrangler Network special video presentation.
Lane is a community of 414 people in southeast Oklahoma. Clyde, Elsie and the Frost siblings moved there in 1978 to escape the harsh winters in Utah. They attend the Lane Baptist Church with many of their neighbors and friends. Bull riding champion “Lane” Frost is the most famous person from “Lane”, OK…ironic isn’t it.
Last Sunday, Wrangler Network’s David Sharp visited Lane, OK and spent quality time with Clyde, Elsie and their neighbors and friends. This special group had a few thoughts, stories and remembrances they wanted to share with the many people who have followed Lane’s legacy.
Years ago, Elsie asked Clyde, “do you think anyone will ever remember Lane 10 years from now?” Clyde’s response was prophetic…”God is still using him today”.
On behalf of the Frost family and their neighbors and friends in Lane, OK …thank you for remembering their “son” – Lane Frost.
