#InCaseYouMissedIt: Pacheco Returns to Form, Bulls Rule Bullnanza and More
By: Darci Miller
This weekend, the Unleash The Beast was back in Guthrie, Oklahoma, for PBR Bullnanza, and the event certainly lived up to its name. The bulls showed up and showed out – particularly one world title contender – but Kaique Pacheco was there to make a stand of his own. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.
On the Unleash The Beast…
It had been almost two years since 2018 World Champion Kaique Pacheco had won an Unleash The Beast event, but the Ice Man got it done at PBR Bullnanza to take home the event win.
The bull power was dominant at Bullnanza, but no bovine was more impressive than Chiseled. He earned a 46.25-point bull score to move into a tie for the No. 1 spot in the world standings.
World No. 2 Joao Ricardo Vieira walked off with the Round 1 win – his third round win of the season – to inch closer to the world No. 1 ranking.
Boudreaux Campbell is ranked No. 1 in the PRCA bull riding standings and, with an NFR qualification locked up, he has an eye on qualifying for his first PBR World Finals.
At the WCRA’s Stampede at the E…
World No. 1 Jose Vitor Leme may have been shut out at Bullnanza, but he came back with a vengeance at the Stampede at the E, winning both rounds and the overall event to take home $62,500.
In the other rodeo disciplines, some new stars emerged to take their respective wins in the WCRA’s return to action.
