Lord Loves Loveland

Lamar, Colorado barrel racer Shali Lord has been on a fourteen-year hiatus from the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas but her magical 2019 that included co-champion honors at Cheyenne and a Greeley Stampede victory rocketed the popular veteran to fourth in the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association world standings to earn her second NFR berth. Lord amassed the majority of her cash on a stallion called ‘Can Man’ and chose to use a back-up horse for the Mountain State Circuit Finals Rodeo where she has a huge lead on everyone punctuated by a first-round, 15.54 second, victory in Loveland, CO Friday night.
