Tucson Puts on a Snow Show You have to hand it to a few hundred hardy Tucson Rodeo fans who bundled up and braved the snow to cheer on a contingent of contestants that for the most part had to hit the laundromat after the Friday performance. Heavy, wet snow whitened the southern Arizona city for several hours beginning late Thursday night. ProRodeo Hall of Fame stock contractor Bennie Beutler had his “Roll ’em Boys’ mantra booming to scoot the action along knowing the mud would only get thicker by the minute. His bucking horses carried two cowboys to scores in the 80s and championship round qualifications despite the less than ideal conditions.
