Fun Facts about Zach: This is a year of firsts for Zach. He is the first in his family to compete in pro rodeos and has qualified for his first WNFR. He also competed at the Calgary (Alberta) Stampede for the first time and earned over $16,000. He and his wife, Stormy, are expecting their first child, a girl, in February. Zach was the 2017 Rookie of the Year in the bareback riding. He has finished 27th in the world that year, and 17th the next. Last year he was 35th and started working towards this year as soon as the season started. He attended Western Texas College in Snyder, then went to Hill College in Hillsboro, Texas, where he got a landscaping degree. He now has his own landscaping/mowing business. Stormy is also an entrepreneur who owns her own hair salon.
