Fun Facts about Ky: This year has been one that Ky has dreamt about since he was a child wanting to be a cowboy. He grew up in town and lived for school vacations when he could go to his grandparents who had a ranch about three hours from their house. Watching bull riding on television developed an interest that has turned into a passion. His dedication to riding bulls has him competing at his fourth Wrangler National Finals Rodeo starting in second place. He has had the best regular season of his career and is hoping that carries over into the NFR. He first came to the U.S. to compete at the National Junior High School Finals Rodeo. His second trip was to continue his education at Odessa College, then Sul Ross State University. It was all steps in his journey to becoming one of the best in the world. A highlight of his 2022 season happened in Las Vegas at last year’s NFR. He and his traveling partner, Stetson Wright, split the win in round 8. He finished fourth in the world last year and is hoping to improve on that this year.
