Fun Facts about Jr.: He dreamed of roping at the WNFR before he even had his own horse. As a toddler he carried a rope everywhere whit him and has wanted to be a team roper for as long as he can remember. He is named after his father Elvenee and quickly gained the nickname Jr. He accomplished his goal of qualifying for the WNFR in 2017. The trip back to rodeo’s championships has has plenty of twists and turns. Jr. has made his home in South Dakota and depended on WNFR heeler Matt Zancanella to refine his skills in the arena. This year he has been roping with fellow South Dakota roper Levi Lord. Their state is well known for producing great bronc riders and they are happy to represent it in the team roping.
