Fun Facts about Levi: When he and Dustin Egusquiza teamed up for the 2023 season team roping fans knew it was going to be exciting. The duo earned more money over “Cowboy Christmas” than any other team at $25,263. Contributing to their success in the arena is their camaraderie outside of the arena. While South Dakota is Levi’s home, he has a place in Texas and he and Dustin are neighbors. They eat, golf and rope together. Both are known for their aggressiveness and that should serve them well in the Thomas and Mack Arena. This is Levi’s third Wrangler National Finals Rodeo appearance and his second in Las Vegas. He won the first round the first time he roped in the Thomas and Mack last year with Jr. Dees. Levi’s father, J.B. Lord, has won titles in the Badlands Circuit in the steer wrestling, team roping and all-around categories. His brother Eli is a two-time champion at Wyoming’s Cheyenne Frontier Days in the steer wrestling. They have competed as a family for years and rodeo is truly a way of life for the Lords.
