Fun Facts about Tyler: Nobody knows better than Tyler how important horsepower is. The 2017 Resisitol Tie-Down Rookie of the Year earned that title largely because of his partner “Big Time.” The horse was named Tie-Down Roping Horse of the Year in 2018 and 2019. Tyler finished just outside of the top 15 in 2018, then got to ride Big Time in Las Vegas in 2019. He qualified again in 2020, but competed at Globe Life Field without Big Time and finished the year in 14th. It’s taken some time for the ranch-raised cowboy to find another horse that he can consistently win on, but he did that this year and is headed back to the Thomas and Mack Arena for his third WNFR. Tyler is the first of his family to showcase their cowboy skills in the professional rodeo arena.
