Fun Facts about Zack: In high school he played football because it was a sport that fit in with his rodeo schedule. He would come home after football practice and then the real practice began. He competed in steer wrestling, tie-down roping, team roping and cutting and reined cow horse. He narrowed that down to steer wrestling and tie-down roping when he joined the PRCA in 2017. The next year he was making a bid for rookie of the year when he blew his knee out. Fully recovered from that, he has finally reached the goal of nodding his head from the yellow box in the Thomas and Mack Center. It’s something he has wanted to do since he was a child watching his uncle Jeff Corbello compete in the steer wrestling there. Another uncle, Joey Roberts also competed at the WNFR before Zack was born.
